All Trailblazers board members, adult leaders, and coaches are Christians and required to sign a Statement of Faith (see below); however, it is not necessary that a child or family that participates in the Trailblazers program be Christian.

Despite this, we still expect all youth and adults who attend Trailblazers activities to uphold high moral values, such as honesty, integrity, self-control, and respect. It is necessary for participants to be in alignment with these values if they wish to attend Trailblazers events and activities.

Additionally, all of our programs open and close with prayer and some also have a weekly devotion. It is expected that those present observe proper respect during these times. 

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative, Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal punishment.

We believe that biblical marriage between a man and woman is one of God’s covenants just as God made a covenant between God and His people.

We believe that God created us all in His image, both male and female, and that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” God makes no mistakes. His design is both purposeful, perfect, and flawless.

We believe that the fruits of the Holy Spirit represent a transformation of our character, marked by these guiding principles–love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These fruits are produced by surrendering and abiding in the Holy Spirit and actively applied in our daily lives.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
