2025 Cross Country

REGISTRATION

Opens May 14, 2025 and goes through August 4th for team and September for club (please note, shirts/uniforms will be ordered the week of 08/04 and cannot be guaranteed if you don’t sign up by then).

DIVISIONS AND AGES

Boys and girls ages 9 (born 2016) - 18 (a player must not have had their 19th birthday prior to September 1st of the current season).

There a two divisions: club and team.

Club runners ($55):

Meet twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings,
Receive a shirt,
Do not compete in cross country meets,
Will practice at Brandywine Park,
Begin 8/4/2025 and end 10/03/2025.

Team runners ($110):

Receive a shirt,
Receive a uniform,
May have additional meet fees up to $45 (this will be determined soon),
9-11 year olds meet twice a week with optional third day,
12-13 year olds meet three times a week with optional fourth day,
14 and up meet three times a week with available meet ups two or three more times (or they can run those from home).
Will have the opportunity to participate in 4-6 meets. Meets are typically held on Saturday mornings.
Will rotate practice locations (typically Brandywine Park, Beckenholdt Park, and at least one other location).
Are encouraged to attend summer runs starting 06/16/2025 -08/02/2025

Team managers ($40):

This position has been requested and is on a trial basis this year. It is not open to everyone and should only be selected if you have spoken with Erin Edwards first. Thank you!
Receive a shirt,
Will attend Tuesday and Thursday practices to attend to managerial duties (ie check in, handing out, setting up, and collecting equipment, manning the first-aid kit, making sure runners have water, etc),
May attend Saturday meets to help prepare runners for the meet (ie passing out bibs, ensuring runners get a snack after running, manning the first-aid kit, etc).
