All participants, members, leaders, students, and volunteers are expected to exhibit Christ-like behavior at all times during Trailblazers practices, events, and meetings. Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in appropriate correction and disciplinary action, up to and including removal from the program.
*More specific rules and expectations may be determined by a specific program, but will be guided by this code.
Code of Conduct
Love & Respect One Another: Treat all members, visitors, and leaders with dignity. Bullying, gossip, and put-downs are not tolerated. Actions should reflect Christ, both in and out of the group.
Inclusion: Actively work to ensure no one feels left out.
Words Matter: Use encouraging, positive language. Avoid profanity and hateful or divisive language.
The Golden Rule: Treat others as you want to be treated.
Safety & Boundaries: No illegal substances (drugs, alcohol, tobacco) are allowed. Maintain appropriate physical boundaries—no, or very limited, physical displays of affection (PDAs) at events.
Respect Authority & Property: Follow instructions from leaders and respect property, including cleaning up after yourself.
Participation & Attitude: Be present, actively engage in activities, and keep a positive, encouraging attitude.
Modesty: Your thoughts, words, actions, and appearance should seek/strive to honor God. If you would be embarrassed or ashamed to think it, say it, do it, or wear it in HIS presence, then you shouldn't be thinking, saying, doing, or wearing it.
Grace: Extend forgiveness and understanding to one another when mistakes are made and we learn and grow together.
